Event Details:

We thought it would be a great idea to have a fatbike ride using the Dickerson Mine Trails behind our Randolph shop. We also have several fat bikes for demo that people can sign up for. Demo Fatbikes will be available free of charge at the event. Fatbikes typically have tires that are 3.8” wide and they are a ton of fun to ride.

The Dickerson Mine trails are maintained and built by JORBA and offer some great flowing trails with some nice technical sections. Because of the trails proximity to the shop we can get out there and groom them for some nice flowing and fun fatbiking. Hopefully mother nature will dump some snow on us prior to the event.

Rides will leave the shop at around 10:15 and we will take groups up into the trails from the shop. We have a planed out route that showcases the park. There will also be marked Strava sections if you are looking to test your skills.  After returning to the shop we have an obstacle course and other fat bike activities set up around the shop and riders can test their fatbiking abilities.

It wouldn’t be a winter fat bike event without a fire pit and tasty beverages. Feel free to bring a beverage of your choice we will provide the fire. We are looking for some chili cooks for the after ride food. Email eric@martysreliable.com if you are interested.

JORBA is the reason that these trails exist behind our shop. We are planning on helping them out with trail maintenance on December 20th and sometime in January. If you have the time we would really like to give back to JORBA by getting some trail work done.

We aren’t charging any sort of registration for this event. If you can give a donation to JORBA it will go a long way in developing trails and maintaining them.
