Crazy Cool Bikes! Fixed Gear, Single Speed, Old, New... Just crazy cool!

Ryan's Super 10

Ryan is a stylish fellow.  He rolls on his Univega Super 10 adorned with purple and white.  Hot.

Jim's Royal Enfield

You never know what you may find in the Garbage.  Jim got lucky with this one.  This bike has a really cool head badge.  It says "Made like a gun"  in really tiny writing.  Apparently, Royel Enfield was mainly a gun company.  The custom chainring has cannons on it!  We couldn't find much info on this bike, but we discovered that the 3 speed hub (which still works!) was manufactured in 1935. The rod brakes are also in good working order and the bike is a blast to ride.  It really hauls!

Geoff's Trek 8000

Geoff's first real mountain bike from back in the day has become a pretty nifty commuter bike!  This bike sports a full XTR kit, King headset (from before they started printing King on the side of the cups!),  Avid Speed Dial Canti brake levers,  Brooks Saddle, Huge Rock Ring (makes and awesome pants guard), Silly but comfy Nitto Handlebar, Suntour thumb shifters and a Syncros seat post.  This makes for a really fun 2.5 mile commute!

Jesse's Hercules

Jesse turned this cheap old Hercules frame into a rockin fixed gear!  This bike features a ridiculous curvy handlebar with fuzzy white tape and white Velocity rims.  What a ride!

Eric's Motobecane

When Eric turned this old Motobecane into a fixed gear, he inspired almost everyone else at the shop to build one up too!  This beauty cruises the streats of Morristown in style with it's Fizik bar tape, Campy headset, RaceFace bottom bracket and well worn oldschool frame!

Ben's Bianchi Pista

Ben rides this machine 1 mile to work every day.  Everyone keeps threatening to steal the gold Campy crankset off Ben's bike, but he is guarding it pretty closely!

Old Trek Fixed Gear

We are not really sure about any of this, but we think this is a 1974 Trek road frame, which may be one of the first years they made frames.... but those are just rumors...  In any case, this is a pretty cool frame.  It has Campy dropouts with these fancy little adjusters with plastic knobs.  We have glorified (or horrified) this old frame with a shortened Trek System 1 mtb handlebar and Control Tech 1" Quill stem, custom fixed gear wheel set with different front and rear rims (the back rim is a Matrix and there is a sticker on it that says it's a prototype... we hope it doesn't break in half), mix matched Tourney Crankset and a very colorful chain.  This bike is sweet.
