The Lewis Morris Challenge is a mountain bike race for all ages and abilities.
The race starts at the Sunrise Lake area of Lewis Morris Park. The Park address is:

The race course is a 6 mile loop that consists of lots of new single track mixed with a some fire road sections. This is a FAST course. Not as rocky as the rest of north Jersey.
This race is part of the Campmor Hudson to Highlands (H2H) Race Series.
USA Cycling licenses are required for this race. One-Day licenses are available for $5 at the race for Beginner and Sport Category racers only. Get your USA Cycling license online at https://www.usacycling.org/
Day-of registration opens at 7:00 am and closes 30 minutes before the start of each race.
Cat 3 (Beginner): 1 lap - 6 miles 8:30 am Prizes: medals
One day USA Cycling licenses are available for beginners for $5.
Cat 2 (Sport): 3 laps - 18 miles 10:00 am Prizes: medals
One day USA Cycling licenses are available for sport racers for $5.
Cat 1 (Expert): 4 Laps - 24 miles 1:00 pm Prizes: cash
Expert racers must have a USA Cycling license.
Pro: 5 laps - 30 miles 1:00 pm Prizes: cash
Pro racers must have a USA Cycling license.

PayDirt Points count! Completing 10 hours of trail work can get you an extra 5th place finish in the series. If you want to compete in this series, you should certainly do PayDirt! (you could be sorry at the end of the season if you don't..)
