Morristown Renovation - Photos - Late July

One of the main wood columns in the middle of the existing store section is being replaced with a steel column.  Here is the empty space where the orginal column was.

Ventilation system drawing air out of the basement.

A new structural wall had to be built in the basement to support a new column on the first floor, which will support the new steel ceiling beams, which will allow us to connect the old side of the store to the new side.

Here is the wall almost complete!

The ancient windows above the big windos have been removed and temporarily replaced with wood.

Here is some of the old tin ceiling we found up there.

Cut away of one of the original beams from the old house part of the building.  A new metal column will sit in this corner to support the new steel ceiling beams.
