NJ Triathlon 2008

Team Marty's had another great showing at the NJ Triathlon this weekend.
Congratulations to all who participated. Tracy M. improved her time from last year by 13 minutes. Mike M. entered the Olympic as his first triathlon and finished in three hours. Kathy O. finished her second sprint with an impressive 1:23. I sat this one out and volunteered on the course. Here are two pictures from the race. The first is Mike sporting his new bike and Marty's jersey as he enters T2; the second is me holding out a bud light as Mike approaches the finish. Enjoy.
Last week we resumed the Friday night ride. We left at 6 instead of 6:30 and rode for 27 miles. The average speed was 16 mph and we were back before 8. The course went through Randolph, Chester, Long Valley and Flander and had some climbs but no more than the Randolph Tri Course.
