2015 Specialized Girl's Hotwalk

Your little princess will learn balance quicker than ever with Specialized's Girl's Hotwalk. It uses a lightweight, aluminum frame with an extremely low standover height so she has plenty of room to use her feet to propel herself, while the comfy seat lets her sit down and coast when up to speed. The kid-friendly Hotwalk geometry makes this a perfect bike to introduce your child to the wonderful world of bicycling.

        Comments:

This bike is awesome! We bought this when my son was 1 1/2...little young but my husband is a cyclist and couldn't wait to buy my son's first bike. Just recently at 2 1/2 he finally wanted to ride it and he learned to balance in TWO DAYS, no joke. He has a bike with training wheels too so we took them off and he rode away like it was so big deal since he learned how to balance on his Specialized. He prefers to ride this bike and we get comments everywhere we go since he is so young and riding already. We were recently at the Tour of CA and the pro riders were even in awe of him and patting his head. My husband is SO proud. We love this bike!!

best thing ever for kids to learn on, and we got in soon enough, our daughter is 2 1/2 years old and is just starting the gliding thing. skipping from one foot from the other.

            Comments:

My only regret is that we didn't get this bike for our daughter sooner! We gave it to her for her 4th birthday in January. She quickly mastered it once she got over the concern that it was different from bikes with training wheels. Once she could easily coast a few hundred feet and showed interest, we went shopping for a new bike. We took the training wheels off the new bike the moment we got it home. By the end of day 2, at 4.5 yo, she can ride her new bike, no training wheels, up and down the street, she can turn around and start/stop without falling (mostly). We can't wait to get one for our son in a year or two!
