Great Bike rack. It extremely sturdy (heavy) and fairly easy to set up. I have a spoiler which probably makes it a little bit more difficult. There are Key locks which prevent the Rack from being removed from the car (separate lock is needed for the bikes). This has to be the best Trunk rack on the market, but you will pay for it.

After one week of use the Saris Bones RS seems to be a great option for a trunk mounted rack. It took the bike shop and me about 20 minutes to figure out how it worked, but now it's a snap to attach (about 30 seconds) and remove (about 20 seconds). Bikes load very easily and don't move. My old bones made a lot of noise with a bike on board. Not a peep with the RS. You can't open the rear hatch with the rack attached, but it's easy enough to install and take off that this is not a limitation. The rack is heavy and is a bit pricey but beats the cost of adding a trailer hitch and buying a hitch mounted rack. I did have to e-mail Saris to find out the correct setting for my Forester but Saris responded almost immediately. Seems like a winner.

Found this by accident. Was browsing for a bike rack 'til a came across this on Saris website. I was intrigue by the limited amount of straps--just 2! Unlike other racks that I've seen and used gone are the "spider," nylon straps that take forever to adjust and remove. Once you've measured out placement, set the straps {only 2}, click it, and done! I drive a BMW 3 series and the metal hooks are covered with rubber, so no scratches. Most of all the rack is stable no matter if your cornering a ramp at 80!
